Satisfaction
I don’t have a bucket list, so when I got this assignment I really had to think. For others their goal might be going to the moon or skydiving. I don’t feel the need to climb Mount Everest, travel the world or to perhaps settle down. This was definitely a challenge, because I had to spill my guts, and talk to myself constantly about what I wanted. Does a person look insane when talking to herself? After creating a bunch of different perspectives and three different products, I think, I finally found what i aimed for. Other than trying out Starbucks for the first time, I want to be happy! I want to be satisfied with myself and what I do.
I’ve learned a lot from this project. At the beginning I thought I had to do something where people literally could see what I was thinking. So I started doing perspective grids, and I drew a room. Then after that, I began realizing, that I needed to do something that I was comfortable at doing, and not learning something entirely new. So I started a new project.
My Art at the moment contains faces and people, but not so much focus on perspective and background. I need to do what I know, and maybe later do a little bit of each. I want to have a future, where I can be brave, and I want to be able to trust myself, and be satisfied with what I do. Before I die, I want to create as many projects as possible. Good and bad, mostly good of course.
I used Neon look to give it a Futuristic look.
The background says "Brave" because in the future I would like to try to be brave. I decided I needed triangles to symbolize strength, and the flow of stars resembles the future Art I want to make. Some of these stars are big, some small and some shine brighter than others. These stars are the art I want to create and be satisfied with. The girl resembles me, who wants to share her Art to make other people smile. My bucket list is that I want to be satisfied with my work, and become stronger and more brave when making more art.
This is also one of the first digital art projects I've created, so i hope you like it!
